The Challenge
Children in Northern Uganda live for years—sometimes a decade—with severe burns, trauma, and congenital deformities that prevent them from walking, writing, eating, or living independently. These life-altering conditions require specialized surgical expertise unavailable locally.
Our Response
Pipeline Worldwide and Ohana One assembled a multidisciplinary surgical team from 4 U.S. states and 5 countries, bringing together surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, occupational therapists, and biomedical engineers for a 12-day mission combining direct patient care with sustainable training.
These surgeries don't just heal bodies; they restore futures. Each procedure represents a child returning to school, a teenager gaining independence, or an infant given the chance to grow up without disability—proving that strategic medical partnerships can transform waiting lists into success stories.
