JE Dunn Construction

JE Dunn Construction exemplifies how corporate partnerships can extend far beyond financial contributions to create transformational community impact. When Pipeline needed construction management for their ambitious Simulation Container Lab project, JE Dunn stepped forward to take on this complex initiative. However, their most significant contribution was leveraging their industry relationships to expand the project's impact. JE Dunn VP Jason Studt personally approached multiple subcontractors, inviting them to meet with Pipeline and learn about their work in Uganda. Project Manager Joey Scheman led the project overall and went above and beyond all expectations to make the project a success.

Through Jason's advocacy and JE Dunn's reputation, the Simulation Container Lab project attracted comprehensive support from multiple industry partners. This multiplication effect demonstrates the power of corporate leadership in mobilizing broader industry engagement around humanitarian causes.

Beyond orchestrating partner involvement, JE Dunn made substantial direct contributions. They donated $20,000 worth of tools to completely equip both carpentry and welding workshops for Lonyi Village, Pipeline’s humanitarian training and lodging campus in Moyo, ensuring that vocational training programs would have professional-grade equipment from day one.

JE Dunn's approach illustrates how construction companies can leverage their unique expertise and industry relationships to create impact far beyond their individual capacity. Rather than simply building to meet budget constraints, they demonstrated their commitment to excellence by ensuring the people of Moyo would have a state-of-the-art Simulation Container Lab that will transform healthcare in the region—a decision that speaks volumes about their character as a company. Their model of combining human investment, project management expertise, relationships, and direct resource contribution creates a template for meaningful corporate partnership that other companies can emulate across industries.
