In Northern Uganda, two vital community institutions will experience remarkable improvements thanks to the generosity and expertise of two dedicated Pipeline Worldwide partners. Faith Technologies and Greentech Renewables are leading the way in bringing sustainable solutions to communities that need them most.
Solar Power Brings New Hope to Moyo General Hospital and St. Thomas Aquinas College
The corridors of Moyo General Hospital are frequently darkened by power outages that compromise critical care. Today, a different story is unfolding. Through the generosity of Faith Technologies and Greentech Renewables, 297 solar panels and 27 mounting structures—equipment valued at $204,900— have been delivered and will provide power to both Moyo General Hospital and St. Thomas Aquinas College.
For the newborns at Moyo General Hospital, a previous power solution dedicated to providing back up power for the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) has been life-changing in the most literal sense. Data reveals that the neonatal mortality rate has improved by 44% since the installation of reliable backup power. Doctors and nurses can now operate vital equipment continuously, maintain proper temperature for vulnerable infants, and provide round-the-clock care without interruption.
"The difference is day and night," shares Bessi Bernard, Moyo General Hospital administrator. "Before, we would lose babies simply because we couldn't keep incubators running during power outages. Now, we can focus on providing care instead of worrying about when the electricity might fail."
The new solar panels donated by Faith Technologies and Greentech Renewables will provide a similar level of support for additional departments in the hospital, including operating theaters, the maternity ward, and the emergency department.
At St. Thomas Aquinas College, students and teachers alike will benefit from consistent access to electricity provided by the solar panels. Classes can continue into evening hours, computers and laboratory equipment can function reliably, and students can study after dark—expanding educational opportunities for hundreds of young learners.
Father Robert, Founder of E3 Africa, which established St. Thomas Aquinas College, emphasizes the transformative impact: "This solar donation from Faith Technologies and Greentech Renewables will revolutionize our school. Our students will be able to study after sunset, use computers consistently, and access resources that were previously unavailable. This isn't just keeping the lights on—it's brightening futures and opening doors for infinite possibilities."
The contribution of brand new, high quality solar panels by Faith Technologies and Greentech Renewables' will create sustainable solutions for St. Thomas Aquinas College and Moyo General Hospital that will serve these institutions and their constituents for years to come.

The Ripple Effect of Strategic Giving
The impact of these partner-driven initiatives extends far beyond the immediate improvements to infrastructure. For the communities surrounding Moyo General Hospital and St. Thomas Aquinas College, these projects represent renewed confidence in local institutions and hope for healthier, more prosperous futures.
Students at St. Thomas Aquinas College will see expanded possibilities for their education. Healthcare workers at Moyo General Hospital will be able to focus on providing quality care rather than working around systemic limitations. And families throughout Northern Uganda will access services that meet their fundamental needs with dignity and reliability.
Faith Technologies and Greentech Renewables demonstrate how corporate and organizational partners can create meaningful, lasting change by contributing not just funds, but expertise and appropriate technology that addresses community priorities.
